Leadership Lake County Signature Class of 2017 member Josh Rosen is hitting the trail to raise awareness and funds to provide opportunities for diverse student participation in Leadership Lake County and Leadership Geauga Junior Leadership programs.
Josh will begin in Cleveland on June 7 and head across the northern U.S to Portland, OR. He will complete the first 2,500 miles on his bike, then finish with a 50-mile run. That's a total of 2,550 miles! He expects this course to take 23 days.
His campaign goal is to raise $5,000 in Youth Scholarships for Leadership Lake County and Leadership Geauga Junior Leadership Programs. This will cover tuition for six high school students in each program!
Josh grew up in Geauga County, and currently lives and works in Lake County. In 2017, Josh participated in the Leadership Lake County Signature Program. Through this experience, he saw first-hand the benefit of bringing together diverse leaders (professionals and students) for dialogue and experiential learning.
Josh and his wife Marisa are on the path to adopt a child from Burundi, Africa. They seek to live in a community where diversity is valued and all children can succeed.
Will you join him? Your gift will both motivate Josh on this long and hard journey and provide more opportunities for future young leaders in our community!
